About Jillian

A weather enthusiast from a young age, Jillian Angeline joined the AccuWeather Network in July, 2021. Working at the most trusted global brand in weather forecasting is a dream come true. She’ll be based in the New York City area, and she’s also looking forward to hitting the skies and roads covering weather-related stories across the country. Most recently, Jillian was a correspondent for the DC Bureau at Gray Television, interviewing lawmakers on Capitol Hill and reporting on local issues impacting viewers in 100 markets across the U.S.

Jillian’s career has taken her from New York to Los Angeles in the continental U.S., from Saipan to Palau in the Pacific, and from Jordan to Kuwait in the Middle East.

Throughout her career, she’s covered extreme weather across the world, including Hurricane Harvey’s impact in Central Texas in 2017; Typhoon Soudelor’s devastation on Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands in 2015; and she lived through Superstorm Sandy in New Jersey in 2012.

As a nightly anchor and news reporter on Saipan during Typhoon Soudelor and in its aftermath, she spent days broadcasting valuable, life-saving information to the audience and telling the personal stories of the islanders who were struggling without power, running water and shelter.

Jillian is devoted to sharing stories of the people living in the path of Mother Nature and having a role in AccuWeather’s mission to save lives and property.

Jillian is a proud Trojan, graduating from the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California. In her free time, she enjoys working out, trying new restaurants, listening to country music and spending time with her family and friends.

Jillian is always looking for good stories to tell—feel free to send her an email with your ideas. Follow her journey on Twitter, @JLAngeline, or Facebook.
